He spent most of his childhood in Alaska, but he also lived in Japan and in Sacramento, California.
Education & Practice Philosophy
Dr. Lawson received a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific in 1986. After graduating, Dr. Lawson dedicated an extensive amount of time and resources to additional training in occlusion, periodontal and oral surgery, and aesthetic and implant dentistry. In order to provide you with the best treatment options available, he’s committed to continually updating his knowledge base and incorporating the latest techniques and technology. Dr. Lawson believes that identifying risk factors, focusing on prevention and developing a comprehensive dental treatment plan are the pillars to achieving a long-lasting, functional and beautiful smile.

Community Service
Community is important to everyone at our office, and Dr. Lawson volunteers as Dental Director of the Gallatin Community Dental Clinic and is on the board of directors of Community Health Partners, a non-profit health and dental clinic providing low or no-cost care to those who would otherwise go without dental treatment. He also donates his time and skills as a member of a variety of medical teams in developing countries such as Guatemala and Mexico.
