Our Office

office building

We designed our new office with your comfort in mind. We have beautiful views of Mount Ellis and other parts of the Gallatin Range from every operatory, a comfortable lobby, and a private ‘consult room’ where we can discuss aesthetic issues and options for improving your smile.

We use state-of-the-art technology, including digital x-rays which allow instant image viewing and reduce exposure to radiation by up to 90 percent. In addition, our intra-oral and digital cameras help you see what we see. We strongly believe that informed patients make the best decisions for their health—and there is nothing quite like a photo to help you clearly understand the issues at hand.

For your comfort, you’ll also have access to nitrous oxide, oral sedation and noise canceling stereo headphones to keep your visit pain—and worry—free. And you’ll never feel alone in our office. Our caring, supportive staff will be by your side through any procedure, ready to answer any questions you may have and simply making sure you feel comfortable.

The First Appointment

We’ll thoroughly examine your mouth, and if necessary, take a complete set of digital radiographs; we’ll also construct models of your teeth so we can evaluate exactly what we have to work with now and for the future. We’ll also examine your occlusion (bite), periodontal health (gums), and perform an oral cancer screening, and then customize a preventative oral hygiene program based on your health and personal goals. We’ll talk about any of your concerns, from sensitive teeth to halitosis (bad breath), as we help you attain a bright, fresh smile.

If you have an interest in improving your smile and learning more about what aesthetic dentistry has to offer, we’ll start with a cosmetic consultation, discussing with you all of the available options. This way, you’ll be sure to end up with the smile you’ve always wanted.

Dental Evaluation and Treatment Plan

Based on what we learn during your comprehensive examination, we’ll explain your dental evaluation and help you decide on your short and long-term treatment plans. We work with our patients to create plans that work for each individual’s needs and concerns, and our goal is to help develop healthy and functional teeth and a natural, beautiful smile.

Financial Arrangements

We accept cash, checks, Visa, and MasterCard, and also offer individualized financial plans such as CareCredit, a medical credit card offering 0% interest for up to one year for qualifying cases.

Our primary concern is your dental health, therefore, when financial circumstances require another option, we can refer you to organizations such as the Gallatin Community Clinic here in Bozeman. The Gallatin Community Clinic is part of Community Health Partners (CHP), a local non-profit organization providing health care and dentistry to those who otherwise couldn’t afford it. Dr. Lawson donates his time and services as a board member for CHP, and is the organization’s volunteer Director of Dentistry. If you believe you qualify for assistance at CHP, contact them directly at (406) 585-1360.
